Education

Sarasota Garden Club is committed to educating its members and the public on Florida-friendly gardening and environmental issues, landscaping and gardening, floral design creativity and horticultural hands-on activities, research and discussion. Many programs are delivered at the club’s botanical gardens – 1131 Boulevard of the Arts.

Sarasota Garden Club’s Floral Design & Horticultural Programs – Our year-long program is planned to introduce members, from beginners to advanced designers, on latest trends and provide inspiration for creativity using plant materials using the principals of design. Many design styles are discussed and shown in preparation for the Flower Show that has been held for over 75 years in Sarasota. Members are also encouraged to enter other club shows to improve and enjoy their interest in design.
