Garden Support FAQ’s

Can I specify where my donation will be used?

Unrestricted donations allow us the greatest flexibility, putting gifts fits to work where they are needed.   You may designate your gift toward our Mission which is our general area of support, or towards our Botanical Gardens, Historic Landmarks or Scholarship. See our Donations section for more details.

Gifts of any item or funds for an item, that is to be a permanent part of the building or grounds, must have approval of the Board of Directors.  Please call the office for further information at 941-955-0875.

Does my donation include a membership to the Sarasota Garden Club & Botanical Gardens?

No.  Memberships and donations are separate.   However, you may make a donation when you purchase your membership or at any other time.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes.  Donations to Sarasota Garden Club, Inc.  are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.  For further information, please contact your tax advisor.

What happens after I make a contribution?

You will receive a receipt and email confirmation of your gift immediately, and within 10-14 days an official acknowledgement letter from Sarasota Garden Club, Inc. for your records with appreciation.
