Monthly Members Meet-up with guided walking tour of the Ringling Grounds by Olivia Haynes.  Plus optional lunch!

Olivia Haynes will be the gardens tour guide and speaker for our Ringling meet-up on February 12, 2025. This replaces our monthly members’ meeting. Plan on gathering in the Ringling lobby entrance at 10:00 a.m. Ringling has gifted our club comp reservations for 25 people.

Olivia Haynes has been a very involved member of the Sarasota Garden Club for 24 years. She has held many Chair positions, including Vice President and President. As President she brought back Music in the Gardens, a program started by Sue Angle which had been discontinued.

One of the major projects she undertook was to get the Garden Club the historic marker that is now proudly displayed on our property and she assisted in getting our building on the National Historic Register.

She is now Hospitality Chair, History Chair, and Secret Garden Chair.

Livy retired and moved to Sarasota with her husband Bob in 2000. They joined the Sarasota Garden Club two weeks after moving here.  Livy is a reading specialist and teaches reading for The Thinking Center in Sarasota three days a week, and is a
member of The Sarasota County Butterfly Club.
