District VII Fall Meeting – Via Zoom

Event Details

  • Categories:

We are planning our first ZOOM District Meeting October 13, 2020 and want to include everyone!  You will need to register  twice:  once via Zoom and once via email to our Parliamentarian, Janice Hamlin.

Usually we have a wonderful themed party atmosphere with the host club treating us to a fun day. This year the FALL DISTRICT MEETING will be on ZOOM. The camaraderie and IN PERSON aspect will not be the same, but we want everyone to still have a good time. We can see everyone and have a bit of socializing at the beginning and at the end of the meeting.

This will be a GREAT EIGHT DISTRICT MEETING.  Please invite your whole club to the meeting. The registration form with information about delegates is attached to this email. Delegates only will be allowed to vote.

Normally at this fall meeting, the club presidents would bring their yearbooks. This time please send a copy via email to barbara_rao@hotmail.com  and kittwal@aol.com. We enjoy reading what your clubs are doing this year!

Our own President Al will bring greetings and make some presentations. Christy Linke, our Bee Queen, will hook us up with the news from the Tour Team. Cheerleader Jane Nendick will share membership tips. Kathy Echevarria and Kitty Wallace have prepared a spectacular display of Awards. There will be some surprises and it is all free!!!

The attached CALL letter provides more information about using Zoom as well as information for Club Presidents and District Committee Chairs who wish to report.

Looking forward to seeing you all.
